He has spent more than 20 years as a sales & marketing professional within the packaging and materials management industries.
Elizabeth, Co-Founder & COO
Elizabeth's background is in education and restaurant management. Her professional background ranges from working as a teacher to consulting businesses on implementation of strategy and processes. With extensive experience in management, staff training, and vendor relations, Elizabeth helps businesses make a difference.
Cassidy, Co-Founder & Director of Sustainability & Communications
Cassidy's background is in environmental policy, communications, and graphic design. A graduate of RIT, her passion for environmental sustainability and zero waste offers a unique opportunity for her to utilize her skills to help Impact Earth reach it's potential in the community.
Gail comes from a management background, with a wide range of account & project management experience. Professionally, Gail has spent over 20 years in the packaging industry, her growth and skills in Account Management, Purchasing, Director of Packaging only add to her skill set as a Controller.
Lead Event Staff
Eliza is a student at Finger Lakes Community College and is working towards a degree in Environmental Science. She has served as part of the Impact Earth team since her internship with us in 2014. She enjoys being outside and spending time with her family and friends.
Vibhor is graduate student at RIT pursuing a degree in Sustainable Engineering. He is a HUGE soccer fan, loves to travel, cook, and is a dog lover.
Amanda is an alumna of the University of Rochester with degrees in Studio Art and Psychology. Her professional background includes work in various non-profit, freelance and research roles
ZW Schools Intern
Jason is graduate of McQuaid Jesuit and a senior at the RIT. He is a Marketing major with a minor in Accounting. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending festivals and sporting events around Rochester.
Aubrie is a recent graduate of SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Communication with a minor in Environmental Studies. Aubrie enjoys attending farmers markets every week and playing with her dog in her free time.
Board of Advisors
Bill currently manages the NYSERDA sponsored Clean Energy Incubator program at
Venture Creations, RIT’s business incubator. Previously, from 2010-2015, he was the Director of
Venture Creations. During his tenure at the incubator, its performance has been highly
recognized and he was honored at last year’s Upstate Venture Connect annual awards ceremony as the top mentor in Western New York. Prior to his involvement at Venture Creations he founded and managed FM Technology, an office design and project management firm.
Through his “eye opening” experiences, Steve has gained great insight that can be positively applied in early stage start ups to help them cross the cash flow commercialization goal line asap. In his “less traditional” career he has served in ten different technology based start-ups and been a minor investor in three others. One of his passions is the development and commercialization of contributing technologies; to make them both profitable and sustainable in the real world.
Bill is President of Ergonex, Inc. which facilitates the development of polymeric materials for consumer goods. He has an ongoing interest to develop more efficient resource utilization streams including energy and materials. He has participated on the boards of several renewable energy efforts. Bill has advised the Impact Earth team for several years and is interested in contributing to their long term growth.
Rachel is the Chief Operating Officer for The Children's Agenda. Rachel brings 20 years of non-profit program and administrative experience
to the position. Rachel is on the Board of Directors of Friends of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County, Impact Earth, and Heritage Christian Services
CCQL Committee. Rachel was the recipient of the Rochester Business Journal's 40 Under Forty Award in 2011 and was featured as a national 'Mover and
Shaker' by PreventObesity.net in 2015.
Jerry has spent his entire 30 year career in solid and hazardous waste management, the majority of which in New York State. Most recently, Jerry served in a variety of engineering, permitting, compliance, business development, and operational roles at Casella Waste Systems. Jerry is part of the Impact Earth Team to provide vision, leadership, advice, guidance, and most importantly advancing educational outreach in recycling and solid waste management.
