He has spent more than 20 years as a sales & marketing professional within the packaging and materials management industries.
Elizabeth, Co-Founder & COO
Elizabeth's background is in education and restaurant management. Her professional background ranges from working as a teacher to consulting businesses on implementation of strategy and processes. With extensive experience in management, staff training, and vendor relations, Elizabeth helps businesses make a difference.
Cassidy, Director of Sustainability & Communications
Cassidy's background is in environmental policy, communications, and graphic design. A graduate of RIT, her passion for environmental sustainability and zero waste offers a unique opportunity for her to utilize her skills to help Impact Earth reach it's potential in the community.
Gail comes from a management background, with a wide range of account & project management experience. Professionally, Gail has spent over 20 years in the packaging industry, her growth and skills in Account Management, Purchasing, Director of Packaging only add to her skill set as a Controller.
Daniel is a recent graduate of RIT's Industrial Design Program. He likes to work with his hands and create innovative products that solve real problems he encounters in every day life. An avid car enthusiast and craftsman, Daniel's unique skills and interests helps to bring design concepts into a reality for the Impact Earth team.
Lead Event Staff
Eliza is a student at Finger Lakes Community College and is working towards a degree in Environmental Science. She has served as part of the Impact Earth team since her internship with us in 2014. She enjoys being outside and spending time with her family and friends.
2017 Summer Intern
Julia is currently a junior studying Environmental Science at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY. She is very excited to be a part of the Impact Earth team this summer! She loves the outdoors, going on hikes, reading, and laying out in the sun!

Emily is a dual degree Master's student at American University
studying International Affairs and Sustainable Development. She
graduated from RIT with a degree in Industrial Design. Over the years she's worked on many design, education, and communications projects for corporations, non-profits, and higher education institutions.
Board of Advisors
Bill currently works part-time, coaching incubator companies, focusing on those that are in clean energy. The services he provides include business plan development, investor presentation assistance, access to his personal network of strategic partners, and sales coaching. Since joining the RIT Incubator in 2015, Bill has served as Impact Earth's main business advisor and coach.
Through his “eye opening” experiences, Steve has gained great insight that can be positively applied in early stage start ups to help them cross the cash flow commercialization goal line asap. In his “less traditional” career he has served in ten different technology based start-ups and been a minor investor in three others. One of his passions is the development and commercialization of contributing technologies; to make them both profitable and sustainable in the real world.
Bill is President of Ergonex, Inc. which facilitates the development of polymeric materials for consumer goods. He has an ongoing interest to develop more efficient resource utilization streams including energy and materials. He has participated on the boards of several renewable energy efforts. Bill has advised the Impact Earth team for several years and is interested in contributing to their long term growth.
Rachel is the COO of The Children's Agenda, a local nonprofit. She is a graduate of Dickinson College with a degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science. Rachel is the current Board President of Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Monroe County. Rachel was the recipient of the Rochester Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty Award in 2011 and was featured as a national ‘Mover and Shaker’ by PreventObesity.net in 2015.
Jerry has spent his entire 30 year career in solid and hazardous waste management, the majority of which in New York State. Most recently, Jerry served in a variety of engineering, permitting, compliance, business development, and operational roles at Casella Waste Systems. Jerry is part of the Impact Earth Team to provide vision, leadership, advice, guidance, and most importantly advancing educational outreach in recycling and solid waste management.
